Dr. Tokuji Hedani, 91, passed away on April 24, 2008 at 8:05 p.m. at California Pacific Medical Center.

He was born on Dec. 1, 1916 in San Francisco and was involved with the Golden Gate Optimist Club, Boy Scout Troop 29 Parents Association, S.F. JACL, S.F. Hiroshima Nikkeijin Kai, and Buddhist Church of S.F. and its affiliated organizations.

Surviving are: son, Dean (Melainie) Hedani; daughters, Janet (Steven) Yip and Barbara (Leroy) Morishita; grandchildren and other relatives.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 10, at 12 p.m. at Buddhist Church of San Francisco, 1881 Pine St.
