George Y. Takaoka of Corte Madera passed away peacefully at Kaiser Hospital in San Rafael on Tuesday, May 27, 2008.

He is survived by his wife, Eiko Geri, and his dog, Lucky.

The memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, June 21, at 2 p.m. at Konko Church of San Francisco, 1909 Bush St., San Francisco.
