Masi Oka

“Heroes,” NBC’s hit series featuring Masi Oka as time-traveling Hiro Nakamura, will return for its third season on Monday, Sept. 22, at 9 p.m.
The next chapter in the saga of everyday people with extraordinary powers is titled "Villains," but few details are being released.
The show has been off the air for months, as the second season was cut short by the writers’ strike. The last few episodes can be viewed at www.nbc.com, and all of Season 2 is available on DVD.
The last season was an eventful one for Hiro, who traveled back in time to feudal Japan, where he met his childhood hero, Takezo Kensei (David Anders), and fell in love with a swordsmith's daughter (Eriko Tamura). Hiro also witnessed, and later avenged, the murder of his father, Kaito Nakamura (George Takei).
During the hiatus, Oka was seen in the big-screen comedies "Get Smart" and "The Promotion."
